Does it have to have guitars to be considered Rock n' Roll?

I understand Doo-Wop doesn't, and a capela also does not, but for the most part, true rock and roll has at least one guitar. Right or wrong? Your thoughts..Does it have to have guitars to be considered Rock n' Roll?

I guess you can call Apocalyptica rock or whatever and none of them play guitar.
