Will rock and roll survive this century?

Detailed answers would be appreciated.|||I sure hope it does ! But in general teenagers are starting to listen too more of what the charts publicize as "the top tunes." For example the Britney Spears type artists, but thank god rock %26amp; roll is still alive in some sense of it being transformed into rock , for example Kings Of Leon are a great band and they still maintain the old fashion rock sound and also itunes having an easy link for music lovers to indulge in keeps the rock %26amp; roll genre alive. In general I think it will survive but it will be overtaken by Disney (in the media's case) haha.

LONG LIVE ROCK %26amp; ROLL I SAY !!

Hey there will never be another band like, The Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols, Queen or even ACDC so in a sense they will all be legends in music's history !!

:)

xoox|||It depends on your definition of Rock N' Roll. Are you talking about Rock in general or 50's Rock? 50's Rock has been long gone, I only ever hear it when I listen to Daniel Lioneye.

There's always going to be Rock, just different ways of playing it. I wouldn't mind having a few bands like Chevelle and Cavo come onto the scene in the next few years.

Century? Probably, if I live to see it.|||It will survive although over time it might change and sound different just as classic rock sounds different from modern rock. There is a possibility that it will become less popular among people over time but there will always be bands out there somewhere that will keep rock and roll going. I definitely think rock and roll will survive =D|||This world will not survive this century|||it'd better, or the future's gonna suck
