What's the best guitar to play for heavier rock and roll? talkin zeppelin, foo fighters, velvet revolver?

i know les paul is gonna show up like a thousand times, but please people, get creative. if i had the money, i'd give it to gibson right now, but not gonna happen, so keep thinkin.|||Les Paul.

Sorry it's not creative, but it's the answer to your question.|||Try an Epiphone LP. They aren't gibsons, but for the price, good quality.

c'mon. u don't see 29th frets on much guitars o.o

idk much about it but i luv my guitar to death ( i have..in a way...made love to it....o.o) and it's a Fender Stratocaster...or wutever. plus i luv fender. gibson can kiss my G's A

get it??

g as in guitar...a as in..yeah...i suck i know.

ur probably not gonna get the fender but hey it's ur gain..or loss. idk o.o

telecasters are cheap and cool too...|||Im going to try and answer this question as best I can bro. The guitar doesn't make the music, the player does. I know you've heard it a thousand times but in my opinion its the truth. The best thing I can tell you is find your style. Ibanez has a bunch of good guitars that are capable of playing heavy riffs and smooth solos with as few dead notes as possible, also you might want to try ESP,LTD. Over the years I've had alot of luck with good ESP's equipped with an EMG 81/85 set up or just straight 81/81. I hope this was helpful.|||For Zeppelin I'd use a Les Paul. Velvet Revolver, either use an ESP or Ibanez RG Series. With Foo Fighters use a Stratocaster. Each one has a bit different sound, but my favorite out of the bunch is the Ibanez RG470. It has a more metal sound and more metal look than the Stratocaster without over doing it.|||You want creative, try this

Jimmy Page use to play a fender Telecaster, John 5 plays a telecaster. Hendrix played a concert once on a really cheap sears guitar.

news flash rock and roll Chuck Berry to todays rock bands is not about a guitar, its how you play the guitar.

When the Fender Stratocaster first came out back in 1954 (could be wrong on the year) it was primarily used as a country %26amp; Western guitar.|||Jacksons are cheap and have a good clean sound. especially with a good amp|||It's good that you're keeping as open a mind as possible . . . I'll give you my opinion, but with a disclaimer: you really have to get out to the music stores and find out for yourself! With that being said, the two brands that seem to be the best bang for the buck and able to play different styles: Ibanez and Washburn. Both are very consistent in attention to detail and finish. Both need minimum set-up from a tech (ALL guitars need set-up, bro). Both offer body styles and pickup varieties that will suit your tastes and desires. And finally, both offer gigging-ready models starting at about 300 bucks. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Happy Trails.
