Why aren't the Moody Blues in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?

They had 5 decades of albums and touring and millions of fans worldwide.

(I know there are a lot of others that deserve to be in too but I'm interested in your thoughts on the Moodies)|||That's a good question. It hadn't even crossed my mind that they aren't in the Hall because they certainly do deserve to be. It doesn't make sense. They were one of the first bands to bring the 'symphonic' feel to rock. They were innovative, wrote a bunch of classic tunes, were one of the top-selling acts of the late '60s and throughout the '70s. Hell, their album Seventh Sojourn is one of THE essential rock albums. And many of their other albums are almost as good.

The rock critics have never paid much attention to the Moodies, and I bet that has some bearing on why they aren't is the Hall. They aren't considered to be 'cool'.|||They deserve to be in there. To be inducted, you must have a certain number of votes in order to be inducted for that year. People haven't voted for them yet, that's why. That p***** me off because Metallica started in 1990 and they are already inducted, same with friggin' Madonna and she's not even rock! In my opinion, the RRHF should only be rock musicians ONLY!|||Because the RRHF is a piece of ****.

The Moodies are one of the best bands ever, the band that got me into music, in fact.|||They should be!!!! The Hollies should have been in a long time ago too but they are just getting in. The Monkees should be in as well. There are a lot of good bands who should be in but aren't! =(|||To quote Sid Vicious, "the Rock and Roll Hall of fame is a piss stain"|||because you enjoy men|||while run DMC is in it so i don't put too much weight on HOF. I love knights in white satin though.
